Tile to Colorbond®
conversions.
This is the job we do more than any other. Older Murraylands and Adelaide homes carry concrete tiles that have gone porous, cracked and shed their ridge mortar. We strip them off, straighten and strengthen the frame, install new sarking and finish in Colorbond® — a roof nine tonnes lighter that won't need re-pointing again.
What you get every time.
- —Hundreds of tiles removed, sorted and disposed of responsibly — the site is left clean every night
- —Every batten and rafter inspected while the roof is bare; rotten timber replaced, not covered
- —Anticon or reflective sarking under every sheet for a cooler, quieter home
- —Cyclone-rated screws, sealed penetrations and new flashings as standard
- 01
Inspection & written quote
We walk the roof and the ceiling space, photograph everything and give you a fixed, itemised quote — including a clear timber allowance.
- 02
Strip & assess
Tiles come off in sections so the house is never left open. Battens, rafters and fascias are checked and any tired timber is replaced.
- 03
Sarking, battens & sheets
New sarking and steel or timber battens go down, then Colorbond® sheets are laid with laser-straight lines and cyclone-rated fixings.
- 04
Flashings, gutters & handover
Ridge, barge and penetration flashings are fitted, gutters and downpipes replaced if needed, and we walk you through the finished roof.
- —Colorbond® Trimdek® or corrugated, 0.42 BMT
- —Colorbond® Ultra for coastal and lakeside homes
- —Anticon® 60 blanket or reflective sarking
- —Class 4 / cyclone-rated fixings
10-year workmanship warranty in writing, on top of BlueScope's material warranty on Colorbond® steel (up to 36 years depending on grade and environment).

Real jobs, real roofs.
Asked often.
How much does a tile-to-Colorbond® conversion cost in Murray Bridge?
Most standard homes fall between $20,000 and $45,000 including GST, depending on roof size, pitch, access and how much timber needs replacing. You'll get a fixed written quote after a free inspection.
Will my ceiling need to be redone?
No. We work entirely from above. The ceiling and insulation stay in place — we can top up ceiling insulation while the roof is open if you'd like.
Do you need to remove my solar panels?
Yes, temporarily. We coordinate a licensed electrician to remove and reinstall them, and can advise on relocating them to a better position on the new roof.
